About #EquallyAbleCARES:

The EquallyAble Center for Advancement, Rehabilitative Empowerment and Support Center (CARES) aims to bring together under one roof the services and support necessary for those with disabilities to transcend beyond the bounds placed by society, to become productive, self-fulfilling citizens. The center will be completed in three phases:

  • Phase 1 (1.5 years, $2 million)
    • Build the center
    • Provide orthotics/prosthetics, hearing and vision aids, newborn hearing testing, physical, occupational, and cognitive therapies for Autism and related cognitive disabilities
    • Assistance with equipment, care, and rehabilitation
  • Phase 2 (1.5 years, $1.5 million)
    • Expand center to provide vocational and technical training for establishing small social impact businesses that are aligned with individual’s abilities and skills including establishing best practices in marketing and management
  • Phase 3 (1.5 years, $1.5 millions)
    • Expand center to provide live training, motivational coaching & mentoring to individuals and families with disabilities
    • Identification of role models, awareness, educational opportunities and programs
